PhotoHint is your AI photo coach. Point your phone and get simple guidance on where to stand, how to position your camera, and when to take the shot — one clear hint at a time, with arrows so you can follow along without reading.

Getting started

Open PhotoHint and tap Start shooting.
Allow camera access when prompted.
Pick a mode: A face, Head to toe, A thing, or A view.
Follow the hints and arrows. Tap the shutter when you're ready.

Allow photo library access if you want captures saved to Photos.

Free photos and PhotoHint Pro

Your first three photos are free.
The fourth shutter tap opens the paywall instead of capturing.
Camera controls (flash, zoom, focus, grid, timer, aspect preview, front/back) stay free on every mode.

PhotoHint Pro is a one-time purchase (no subscription). It unlocks:

Unlimited photos
Hands-free auto-capture (Auto on the camera screen — snaps when the shot is right)

Restore purchases

Open the paywall and tap Restore purchases. Use the same Apple ID you used to buy Pro.

If Pro still doesn't unlock, email us with your App Store purchase receipt.

Frequently asked questions

Does PhotoHint upload my photos?

No. Coaching and face detection run on your device. Photos are saved only to your photo library.

Why does iOS mention location?

PhotoHint does not use your location. A system notice can appear because a photo-library component references location APIs. We never read GPS.

Hints feel off for faces or full body.

Face-based coaching works best in "A face" and "Head to toe" with good light and the person clearly in frame. "A thing" and "A view" coach on light and steadiness only.

Can I use PhotoHint on iPad?

Yes. iPhone and iPad are supported. A physical device with a camera is required.

Does the app need an account?

No. No sign-in required.
